If this summer you decide to visit Veliko Tarnovo, there is a place that well deserved a visit, and its The Mini Bulgaria Park, an open-air attraction at the foot of the Tsarevets fortress, in the area below the Baldwin Tower at Tsarevets Fortress, called “Frenkhisar” next to the Yantra river.

The Park has 1.25 ha territory which hosts the most well-known objects worth seeing of Bulgaria: Memorial church of the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the Monastery of Saint Ivan of Rila, the Bachkovo Monastery, temples and castles of Bulgaria.
Who will enjoy a visit to the park?
The park is very suitable for families and children, is in a flat area, no need to hike and go trough stairs, but try to take some protection from the sun since there aren’t many shadows to protect in a sunny day.

The park is open from 09:00 to 18:00 and from April to September the working hours are 09:00 – 19:30.

How easy or difficult is to reach the park?
If you go with a car, the best will be to set up some navigation system, since the aren’t many signs along the road showing the way to reach the park.
