Why and when did you come to Bulgaria?
A woman brought me, to start a family, back in August of 1981, and now another woman keep me Bulgaria.
What do you like about your country?
He gave me an identity, a language, a cause to live and a way of seeing life.
What differences do you see between your country and Bulgaria?
Many and none … depends on what you mean. They are in different continents, they have different historical, cultural, political, even religious references …, but there are landscapes so close, mentalities very close, behaviors almost identical.
What do you like about Bulgaria?
It is my second homeland, it gave me the possibility of being useful, socially useful …, I like everything and when something I do not like, well … I do not like it from the Bulgarian perspective!
Tell us one important experience you have had in Bulgaria
Here I did my PhD in Philosophy, here I fulfilled my dream of being a teacher and of forming new generations and I think it has been and is a wonderful experience.
Do you speak other languages?
Well, yes, I speak German, English, I understand Russian and Portuguese and, logically, Bulgarian.
have you visited other countries?
Yes, I think I know quite well Europe in general, I studied in Germany and Spain, I have been long periods in Denmark and Sweden, I have visited Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, Belgium, Romania, in the former Yugoslavia for different reasons, work and of tourist … and, of course, Latin America, I’ve been to Argentina and Brazil.
What advice would you give to other people who would like to come to live in Bulgaria?
That they open their minds, that they try to live life accepting the Bulgarian way of life, that they respect their norms and their legislation and, at the same time, that they maintain and spread their culture, but always from the perspective that we are already part of another social reality, another culture, another idiosyncrasy.

¿Por qué y cuándo viniste a Bulgaria?
Hasta aquí me trajo una mujer, una familia, por allá por agosto de 1981, y por otra mujer me mantengo en Bulgaria.
¿Qué es lo que te gusta de tu país?
Me regaló una identidad, una lengua, una causa para vivir y una forma de ver la vida.
¿qué diferencias ves entre tu país y Bulgaria?
Muchas y ninguna…, depende de lo que se trate. Están en diferentes continentes, tienen diferentes referentes histórico, culturales, políticos, incluso religiosos…, pero hay paisajes tan cercanos, mentalidades muy cercanas, conductas casi idénticas.
¿qué es lo que te gusta de Bulgaria?
Es mi segunda patria, me brindó la posibilidad de ser útil, socialmente útil…, me gusta todo y cuando algo no me gusta, pues… ¡que no me gusta desde la perspectiva búlgara!
Menciona una experiencia importante que has tenido en Bulgaria
Aquí hice mi doctorado en Filosofía, aquí cumplí mi sueño de ser profesor y de formar nuevas generaciones y creo que ha sido y es una experiencia maravillosa.
¿hablas otros idiomas?
Bueno, sí, hablo alemán, inglés, comprendo ruso y portugués y, lógicamente, búlgaro.
¿has visitado otros países?
Sí, creo conocer bastante bien Europa en general, estudie en Alemania y España, he estado largos periodos en Dinamarca y Suecia, he visitado Grecia, Turquía, Italia, Francia, Bélgica, Rumania, en la ex Yugoslavia por diferentes razones, de trabajo y de turista… y, claro, Latinoamérica, he estado en Argentina y Brasil.
¿qué consejo le darías a otras personas que quisieran venir a vivir a Bulgaria?
Que abran sus mentes, que traten de vivir la vida aceptando el modo de vida búlgara, que respeten sus normas y su legislación y, al mismo tiempo, que mantengan y difundan su cultura, pero siempre desde la perspectiva de que ya somos parte de otra realidad social, de otra cultura, de otra idiosincrasia.
