I moved here in 2018 after my husband and I got married in The Philippines and fix my documents.

The Philippines has amazing beaches from over 7000 islands in the country which attract millions of tourists per year. Also most of us Filipinos are family-oriented and hospitality in our country is known by many countries.
What are some differences between your country and Bulgaria?
The Philippines and Bulgaria have a lot of differences in cultures and traditions, weather, and the way of living are totally different.
What do you like about Bulgaria?
I love Bulgaria because life here is easy going. Fewer people for me is a good thing because in The Philippines we have over 110 million people. I love the food and the amazing nature. I also live how Bulgarian families keep their traditions for the new generations.

What was the most difficult bureaucratic procedure you have undergone so far in Bulgaria?
I never had a problem because my husband is very supportive to help me with all of it.
Mention one important experience you’ve had in Bulgaria :
Experience the snow for the first time in my life is one thing. Being born and live most of my life in a tropical country, I always dream to see and experience real snow and it happend here.
If you have the chance to change something in Bulgaria, what it will be?
I would change other mentality of negativity because when I traveled around Bulgaria I encountered a lot of people who consider their life as miserable. Bulgaria has a lot of things to offer and life is very light and calm which I always dream of.

What advice would you give to other people who would like to come to live in Bulgaria?
The piece of advice that I can tell people who are planning to live here is to study a bit of basic Bulgarian Language. In this way, your life is going to be much easier especially if you live in a village like myself where nobody speaks English.
